So today was/is (for another 2 hours) my 14th diaversary. it's weird,because i never really realized exactly what day it fell on, and i never got the chance to stop and really think about it. so fourteen years ago today, i was lying  in a hospital crib, begging for water and being stabbed with all kinds of needles, which was soon to become my life. It's a weird feeling to have, but sort of cool. I celebrated it today. and i mean celebrated. I had cupcakes and kool-aid for lunch today, just before band practice at the end of the day with my best friend just because we can. while my other friends were like why celebrate? why not be gloomy? But to me, it's just that they don't realize how i really feel about my diabetes. I'm proud to be diabetic, and sometimes i'm happy that this happened to me. ask me why and i couldn't tell you, but all i know is that i'm proud to be diabetic, and hell, I kinda feel like celebrating! haha. :P
