Hey everyone it's Jenny again! So it's almost been a year with diabetes. I'm kind of excited. I know it sounds weird but i am excited. Ok you could call me crazy i call my self crazy too! Ok all of you know that i've been wanting a insulin pump since i was diagnosed. So i've been going to these jdrf meetings where all the kids there have diabetes. They also know that i want a pump and told me that i should ask my doctor about it. My mom said that we should ask my doctor because of what she heard she liked it. So i'm excited about two things my one year diabetes birthday and about my doctor's appointment(that sounds weird). Can't wait!

I don't blame you for being excited to celebrate the first year. When we're diagnosed it's like "Oh my gosh, how can I do this?" and then it's hard to remember when diabetes was a regular part of every day, you know?
Do you feel like you've had diabetes much longer than just one year? I was really excited to celebrate my 10 year anniversary last year because for some reason it just seemed like a personal milestone, or something? I don't know, but I felt like I had accomplished something! Later this month will be my 11 year!
AND GOOD LUCK with the chat about a pump!!! That is truly exciting :) You'll have to let us know how it goes!
