Hey jenny,

Well, I'd have to say Minimed Paradigm but I've never really really used the animas! I can tell you the Minimed Paradigm has gone through many models though, so they've really fine-tuned the product today so that it works well in your life!

Hey Jenny!

So, since i'm such a bias person i'd have to say the ping is the way to go.

I've had way too many bad experiences with minimed, and the majority of their pumps, but ever since i've been using Animas, it's been smooth sailing.  I'm not currently using the Ping as of right now, I'm using the IR 2020, and i'm absolutley in love with it... BUT! I would recommend getting the ping.

At the diabetes camp i worked at over the summer, i had a camper who had the Ping, and it was really nifty, with all the neat-o tricks and things that you can do with the ping. It comes with a remote, and you can bolus from that remotely, or also through the pump device itself. (which is really handy if you're at a dance and have to conceal your pump in your bra and have to bolus, so instead of diging aroud trying to find it, and looking awkward, just grab the remote and batta bing batta boom you're all set!).

If you can't tell by now, i'm very much in love with Animas, but if you have any more specific questions please don't hesitate to ask!
