if youre really hurting, and this is what i do when im in that position, you can get Regular and NPH insulin over the counter. its pretty cheap. about 25 - 30 bucks a vial. and that should last about a month. i know its not the new insulin, but when you need insulin, you need insulin. and you can usually get needles when you purchase insulin. its probably not the BEST advice to give, but its better than not having any insulin at all.
