what do you do when your new doctor tells you to eat less and take more insulin but youre healthy?

i recently had to change doctors because of a move and he tells me to take more insulin and eat less, although i work out 2 hours everyday, my blood sugars are normal, im within my weight limits, my last A1C was 6.7. what do you suggest?
