Can you seek the help of a dietician and/or personal trainer? Some kind of support team or group that will help you along the way?
Losing weight is not a quick and easy thing. When you're setup on the right track, watching what you eat EVERY DAY, consistently eating 5 to 6 meals of about 300 calories every three to four hours, and exercising at least three times a week, you will gradually lose weight. If you're in search of a quick weight loss, you're going to continue to disappoint yourself.
Whether or not you're taking your insulin, it IS about your health. Healthy habits will lead to weight loss.
