Hi! Linda,
I'm lilkathy, and I want to give you some tips that might help to moniotr and smooth out your glucose readings and blood sugar levels, from day to day.
If you try to eat something at least every four hours during the day, and
of course, eat three meals, counting your carb levels, gauging about 35-45
carbs for each major meal, and try to eat at least two snacks per day,
one between breakfast and dinner, and one, after dinner, before going to bed,
for the snacks you would allocate, about 15 carbs maximum for each snack.
You would check the package labels, on meats, vegetable packaging, and
labels for each type of component of your breafast, lunch and dinner, and for each snack.
sounds kind of complicated, but, if you map it out for...
1. grocery shopping
2. meal preparation
3. actually deciding on the size of portions, which you should keep as small, as you
can, and still give a feeling of satisfying your feeling of having a filling, but not
actually a feeling of over-eating....
Write back,
and I will keep trying to help you, figure it out so that it works smoothly for you , as you prepare each meal and snack.
