Hi,

Type 2 diabetes can be caused by a variety of things, so depending on your physical status, you'll have different instructions from you doctor on how to care for it!

Many people develop Type 2 due to being very overweight, inactive and from a poor diet that their bodies aren't able to produce enough insulin to keep up with their lifestyle. Some people's pancreas simply don't produce enough insulin or process carbohydrates properrly for an assortment of other reasons!

So, what I would first suggest doing, is talk to the doctor who diagnosed you and get a clear understanding of what your body needs in order to maintain balanced blood sugars. In some instances, specifically if you're overweight, inactive and eat poorly, Type 2 can be eventually reversed with a healthy diet and exercise!
