To determine if you have Diabetes depends on the condition of your current health. There are two awful versions of Diabetes. Type 1 and Type 2. The symptoms for both are frequent thirst and hence frequent urination. There is also a bitter taste in your mouth that you cannot get rid of.   What I would reccomend is check your urine for Ketones. These can be bought at your local pharmacy. If your Ketone level is very high or even the slightest trace YOU MUST GO TO EMERGENCY ASAP. Failure to do so will cause you to be in a Diabetic Coma. Or as in myself I did not go into a coma but my ketones were very high and I was extremely tired and lethargic for no reason.  Which I was also drinking H20 like a camel. So I went to Emergeny and voila I am now a Type 1 Diabetic   I am a Type 1 Diabetic for almost 20 miserable years.  I am currently 37 years of age. At the time I was in College earning my Business Degree when I was newly diagnosed.   You must always watch your diet and you will be fine. But please check your Urine and blood sugar.   Type 2 is more adult oriented and occurs in people who are somewhat overweight and have very high blood pressure. The excesse fat is pressing onto the pancreas (the organwhich produces insulin) and thus unable to secrete insulin. In Type 1's it's different. A Type 1 is not overweight or has high blood pressure. The pancreas is unable to produce sufficient insulin and thus you will have to take insulin injections for the rest of your life. Tablets will not help. This is only used for Type 2's. However they can only use these tablets for 10 years. After that they too will have to switch to insulin injections. Becuase the body will start to develope a resistence.   Be assurred I am in good control and have no complications thus far. I am confident a cure will be here approximately in 4 years (I have global contacts for R&D).   I hope I answered your question. Best of luck
