    Hi from New Zealand. I get very annoyed when I read or hear that I ..."suffer from Type 1 diabetes". I do not agree that I actually "suffer" - I just happen to have Type 1 diabetes.

    I'm a Type I and work as a medical secretary.  It annoys me when doctors list the diagnosis: "non-insulin-dependent diabetes (on insulin)". 

    So he doesn't need insulin, he just injects it for fun?
