    Glucophage, in my case, was prescribed when I became an overnight full-blown diabetic approximately 10 months ago. Without going into too much detail regarding my very sudden Diabetic status, I simply wish to state that upon reading the contra-indications, I realized how dangerous a situation arises when Diabetes presents itself suddenly; this without even a trace of symptoms before being prescribed a combination of anti-biotic and, what I consider to be very suspect and dangerous, cortisone. What I would like to know is, are there no other far safer concoctions that can be recommended without having to endure the stress of having one's financial resources seriously threatened?
