    People and especially pharmaceutical companies are in way too big of a hurry to bring new drugs to market and promote them. I understand that those of us with serious chronic illnesses are sometimes desperate to find new and better treatments, but it seems every drug has its downside. It may take a long time for the bad effects to surface. I know of one doctor who won't prescribe any drug for his patients unless it has been on the market for at least 10 years. I think that is wise.
