A few months ago, I clicked on a Google ad that looked interesting. Turns out that there are physicians in Germany who promise to use your own stem cells to somehow "treat" your diabetes. And they have a very sophisticated website, where they promise people with diabetes and myriad other conditions ...

Who are you to comment in such a negative way? What do you base your comments on? I personally went to this clinic, and I have had type 1 diabetes for 23 years with nephropathy, retinopathy and neuropathy. I went there a month ago, was VERY kindly treated and thusfar have had to reduce my Lantus from 18 units to 12 units and reduce the Actrapid by day (not so dramatically however) and this, without extra exercise or diet changes. Anyway, even if, as they say, it's all in the head and it's a scam, at least they offer help and more importantly hope, because here, my diabetes team is of no great help whatsoever and all they can do is send me to the psychiatrist!
