Bill,
I think this an awesome response to yesterday! I watched the signing on TV and saw a few people shedding tears as he signed the paper. It's been frustrating watching our strides in research simply disappear for the last 8 years!
When the restrictions were put in place, many didn't realize that funding simply left this country and travelled to places that embraced stem cell research. For the US researchers, they lost revenue and jobs to overseas labs. Their gain our loss!
I'm beyond excited to see this change just for the sake of raising the bar for researchers to begin to widen their horizon and offer us more than hope!
