i have 2 comments: 1- why would anyone rechallenge?
2- in this case, why not simply substitute? every DM med has a substitute- insulin and the sulfonylureas work the best, followed by metformin, and then the TZDs and DPP IV agonists- so there is always another option- maybe not as effective, but for peace of mind alone would be better
