No as I 'm currently wearing a medi alert bracelet, have been almost since my diagnosis, less than a year ago, but I have been wanting a tatoo for 2 years now, before diabetes occurred w/me, but I'm still nervous, as I've heard the horror stories about infection, related to cuts during pedicures, then amputation, because the cut wouln't heal, & became septic, & gangrene set in.

For those who want one, but medics aren't trained to identify them,,,, why not tatoo a medic alert symbol?
I agree with the previous post. My bracelt is enough identification.
