    Thanks, as usual, for the post.....As an issue, it also seems beside the point when one looks at the range of serious health problems present in current and past Justices---from many kinds of cancer to obvious dementia!.....Be well.....Judith in Portland

    this whole issue is nonsense- the legitimate critique of the supreme court justices is that they are too powerful- they are not elected, and cannot be removed- they retain their very powerful positions as long as they live!- so what i say is that it's better that the judges have chronic health conditions, as a natural buffer against protracted terms of justice adjudication
