Several weeks ago, I wrote about a new category of sweeteners I called the "green stuff." At that time, I was under the impression that the yellow stuff, Splenda (sucralose), was available only under the one name-brand. But I was wrong. On a recent shopping expedition, my wife Steph mentioned tha...

I cannot locate information on the label of the products, nor on the websites, that indicate where the product is made.

I'm pretty sure that they are using different factories to package the product, as the granularity and clumpiness are different. But whether the raw product all comes from one source (possibly China???) or from multiple sources is not at all clear to me.

Guess you would have to contact these companies directly for the origin of the raw products.

I  recently had to contact a few companies  to check on what solvents they use in their production of olive oil.

sucralose made in brooklyn = sucralose; sucralose made in china = 'yellow stuff' (emphasis on scare)

I called the 800 number on the NatraTaste Gold box, and spoke to a customer service person. He said the clumping was due to improper storage (something about being stored too hot or too cold?), and said (twice) that it has no effect on its useability.

I also asked where the ingredients were made, and he said the product was made right there in their own factory in Brooklyn NY.
