A Diabetic on Fear and Reaching Goals

The idea of actually succeeding can be terrifying. To actually become the kind of person we dream about becoming? Often we say that we are afraid of failing, of taking the risk to reach our goals and never making it...but I believe there's much more to it than that.   We are afraid of winning....

Stepping outside one's comfort zone can be the scariest thing, but it's necessary. I recall a quote I heard once, though I don't recall who it was: "The scariest things in life are the things we probably ought to be doing." Great post, Ginger! Thanks for sharing such a positive message.

You go girl!  I love your posts.  I saw my Internist today and he said everything was fine.  September marks   54 years on insulin.  I do try to do the treadmill every day.  I want more diabetics to know how important exercise is.  In the beginning it was Diet, Insulin, Exercise.  Now testing is the 4th factor.
