    I totally agree: the idea of never getting a "diabetes vacation" can be pretty daunting sometimes. It's a lot of work. I guess it helps me to remember that I'm not the only one who has to do it 24/7. And man am I glad it's diabetes instead of a few other diseases out there. But you're right--it's not fun, it's hardwork. So no matter how perfect our bloodsugars are, we all deserve a big freakin' pat on the back!
