NON-INVASIVE, VERY ACCURATE wrist glucose monitor

By lifeguard Friday, February 12, 2010

Yesterday, Feb.12th, Biosign Technologies Inc. in Toronto announced it had been assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of the ISO and EEC for automated wrist blood pressure and blood glucose monitors. The certificates allow Biosign to add non-invasive blood glucose monitoring to its offerings in the European Union and other regions that recognize these certifications. Outstanding accuracy and non-invasive are bound to be the new gold standard. Just the thought of "no more test strips" is bound to make this company the good news story of the year. I can see 24/7 accurate readings being monitored by the family doctor's computer and appointments being made as a result of those readings, only if the doctor thought neccessary. Better management with fewer visits is a formula for happier patients and cost savings. Keep an eye on Biosign as I'm sure we are about to see a paradigm shift in healthcare worldwide.
