They make a great sub for flours as well as a thickener for puddings, etc. They are very filling and low carb. Thanks for introducing me to them years ago, David!
Thank you for letting us know of the chia seeds. They are indeed superfoods judging from all the nutrients they contain. I am going to routinely add them to my salad, orange juice and yogurt. We are really lucky to have such a nutritious addition to our diet.

Have placed several orders with chiaseedsdirect.com and have never been disappointed. The chia seeds are included in a blended mix for bite-size round ice cube frozen pops (no stick). Just one way to consume various nutritional supplements.
3 cups water
3 tablespoons virgin coconut oil
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons chia seeds
2 tablespoons peanuts
2 dried prunes
1 ounce square Bakers unsweetened chocolate
Blend at maximum speed for around 99 seconds.
6 ounces Kroger vanilla CARBmaster dairy blend (yogurt)
1 package Kroger sugar-free vanilla pudding
Blend at medium speed for around 66 seconds.
Pour into pointed-tip squeeze bottle and fill 4 silicone-bottom push-out type round ice cube trays.
