Alcohol interferes with bs reading?
Anne Atwood
Monday, November 12, 2007 at 01:03 AMI thought you were supposed to use alcohol to clean a test site. I remember hearing that the alcohol doesn't interfere with the accuracy. Where did you get your info on this? I test a wet site all the time that has been alcohol swabbed. I need to know the facts. Appreciate your help.

Monday, November 12, 2007 at 12:54 PMI hope this is the beginning, along with the RelyOn, of the price of metering coming down significantly. The Clever Chek as about 36 cents is 7 cents cheaper. And in turn the RelyOn was 57 cents cheaper than most others. Of course I don't know if my insurance company get a huge discount from One Touch.re: Untitled Comment

Clever Chek's Data Protection Features.

Monday, November 19, 2007 at 05:44 AMReading the user manual, (see the company's website), it seems that storing a record of your tests is optional. (It is not imposed upon you the way it is by other, paternalistic, manufacturers such as Lifescan.)
You prevent a test being recorded by pressing the button after the strip's in. This is described in the manual as "performing a control test". You can delete all current stored results as part of setting the date/units.
The fact that the strips are merely extremely expensive, rather than extortionately expensive, makes the thing even more attractive.

forearm testing

Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 03:32 PMForearm testing is very important to me and I am wondering about the Clever Chek's ability. I see that you said the food and drug Ad. approved it for this, but the site you provided for the meter doesn't list it as being able to, I was just wondering if you could clear up this confusion for me as it would be a much cheaper strip cost for me.re: forearm testing

Monday, December 31, 2007 at 06:42 PMI tested Clever Chek Autocode for my cat Lilly and it was much better and easier than Ultra.
It is acurate too. I showed the results to Lilly's vet and he is impressed too with the accuracy.
