Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 09:09 PMThanks for the walk down memory lane. It's funny to look back and figure out how we all got to where we are these days. Congratulations as you progress toward the title of prolific in front of 'a writer on the web'...

My Byetta Experience
Evelyn
Monday, February 04, 2008 at 06:34 PMI've been on Byetta for about a year and I've lost 40 lbs and it's kept my blood sugars very steady, so I'm very happy with it. I started at 260 and I weight 220 today. I seem to have tapered off, but I've kept the weight off so that's a good thing. I tell everyone I can, ask your Dr. for it. I had one person tell me their Dr. said they were too fat for it, I told them to change Dr's. -
The New Book
Kat
Wednesday, February 06, 2008 at 10:06 PMI'm so pleased to hear the book is out. I pre-ordered it a while ago and I'm looking forward to reading it. It was very interesting to read the history of it, thanks for sharing that. I've been on Byetta a little over a year, and since last April, when my endo took me off Avandia, Ive lost 39 pounds. My HbA1C has gone from 7.7 to 6.9. I'm pleased and so is my doctor. I've also been pleased with the study results showing that weight loss continues as patients continue on Byetta. David, I am sorry for your loss. The diabetic community owes you a debt of gratitude for continuing on with your writing during such a difficult time.
