have you found this site? http://www.gnod.net/ It shows you at a glance what music is similar to music you have already identified - so it might be worth trying for stuff with a similar beat! It also does author and film comparisons in the same way.

The Old Medical & Sports Music Institute of America

Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 01:36 AMAre you the person who started the Medical and Sports Institute of America in Eugene Oregon? Do you still produce and sell Prescription Pace tapes or CD's? I use a cassette I ordered from your company in the 1980's! The pace is 138 BPM based on numbers I gave you when I ordered the tape. I was worried I would wear out the tape so made 1 copy and still have the original. The first notes work like magic the moment I hear them on my headset. I'm probably the only one in Puyallup who still uses a Walkman with the clunky earphones.
Eagerly awaiting your response. Agnes Thomsen

Music to move to
Terry O'
Saturday, March 01, 2008 at 06:06 PMI find Latin music really good for walking and moving to. One of my sisters (who, like you, lives in Boulder) bought me an iPod Nano and put several albums of Latin music on it to encourage me to work out. I've added to that. Among my favorites are Marc Anthony - Libre, Cuba Si, Cubanismo!, Descarga Total, Gypsy Kings - Rare and Unplugged, Maraca, Putamayo - Republica Dominica....
