Thank you for this information! Actually by exercising too much I got hypoglycemia.
I had been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes a year ago........ In the space of about 3 months my CEA went from l.2 to 5.9
Worst of all my dog got diagnosed for diabetes as well.
I read about animal diabetes when my doctor referred me to the "Animal Diabetes Report" at: www.diabetesinanimals.com
So people, if you have pets beware!!

Dear Tom,
Good point. Yes, if you are taking insulin or a sulf, you really have to watch your levels to avoid going hypo.
I am sure that you didn't mean to imply that you (or your exercise) caused your dog to get diabetes. But in case somebody reading this assumes that diabetes is contagious -- that you can catch it from someone who has diabetes -- I have to add that it definitely is not contagious.
