I appreciate your excellent piece on GMON. I use it actively in my pediatric endocrinology practice. I appreciate your excellent piece on GMON. I use it actively in my pediatric endocrinology practice. We have over 50 deployed so far, including rural and metropolitan households, schools, and even residential homes for children. My families really enjoy the ease and simplicity of getting their data to me as you point out. I also use the GlucoDYNAMIX Day over Day logsheet as a great pattern management teaching tool. I communicate changes with families through e-mail or even text messaging if they lack a PC. Also, since 2007 we've made GMON an integral part of Diabetes HouseCall, a new program which allows me to perform half hour video visits with established patients in the comfort of their homes. Since the patients can live up to 800 miles from my office, the savings to the patients are incredible and so far each family and child could not be happier with the format. The GlucoMON is a key part of that program. I'm so glad you've shined a light on this multi-faceted diabetes self management tool.

Hello Steve! My name is Beth North. I had the incredibly bad timing last Saturday to miss what others reported was a very excellent session at the ADA Postgrad on Technology and Self Management in diabetes. I would love to set up some time with you at your convenience, but I don't have your phone or email address. I am working with a start-up company, Hygieia, Inc. There may be a need or a want for the device we're working on (a new class of medical device in the diabetes space) to utilize the GlucoMON device.  If you wouldn't mind giving me a few minutes and your email and phone, we could set something up within the next month or so. Congrats on rave reviews for your talk -- sorry I personally missed it!  My loss. Best regards, Beth North (574.298.4987 mobile or bnorth@hygieiamedical.com)
