I have an i-Sens meter (I live in Australia) and really loved using it. I don't know if it will be the same over there, but here, one of things that impressed me was that the data cable and software came packaged with the meter.

This same cable also works with the Freedom meters which was a nice discovery as well.

Looking forward to a new meter that will offer more reasonable pricing for the test strips and supplies.  I have to pay out of pocket.

I recently purchased an i-Sens CareSens POP for my wife as she has gestational diabetes. The device was consistently reporting lower (< 6.8) blood glucose levels for her when in fact she was on the region of 8.0 - 10.0 with other more established brands at the local hospital.

I was extremely disappointed with this and approached the local supplier in Malaysia for a refund. I got grief instead. They told me all sorts of stories and went on to discredit other brands and manufacturer's devices which was very unprofessional with a print out from the US FDA.

I will never trust their brand or machines ever again. Read about my ordeal if you care to: http://xwarm.wordpress.com/2010/03/19/horrific-experience-with-kinsmedic-i-sens-caresens-pop-blood-glucose-tester/
