      <description>So I&amp;#39;m almost at my 6 month mark of taking Byetta.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;ve lost 40 pounds, but my bg&amp;#39;s are climbing since coming off the Avandia, A1c was at 8.4, and my tri-g&amp;#39;s were up to 150.&amp;nbsp; The dr. is thinking my body still needs to adjust to the meds change, and said that next visit (mid-August) if they were still up, she would probably put me back on the Avandia.&amp;nbsp; That was in April.&amp;nbsp; My sugars kept going up, so I put...</description>

      <title>How it's going with Byetta and my diabetes in general</title>
      <description>I found I had type 2 about 15 years ago, started with metformin, then after a few years added others to the mix. I am now using metformin (1000mg 2/day), glipizide (10mg 2/day), and Byetta 10 2/day. I am also taking Diovan w/Hctz 80/12.5 once a day for bp, Crestor (5mg 1/day) for chlorestoral, Gemfibrozil )600mb 2/day) for tri-g&amp;#39;s, and Synthroid .075mcg once a day. whew! a lot of meds! The Crestor worked so good that my doctor decreased it...</description>
