just told t oday  i hve type 2  now i cant have suger and certain foods anyone know what the hell a man can eat that is good

    You don't have to give up all "good" food because you are diabetic. I've had it for 10 yrs (57 yo woman) and take meds 3x/day. Keep in mind that you need to watch ALL carbs, not just sugar. Bread & rice can send your sugar up as fast as a candy bar. I try to eat some protein everytime I eat. So if I want a cookie, I have some skim milk. Or a hunk of cheese with some crackers. It helps stabilize blood sugar. Exercise is supposed to help, but honestly, I'm a couch potato. Hope this helps a little. Hang in there.
