This past month has been really bad for me regarding the whole diabetes thing. About a month ago I took off my CGM because I honestly just couldn't handle the beeps, buzzing and the blood gushing sites because my mental state of being is just not all here right now.   I have decided to put the...

You will get it together.  The realization that you have come to will help you get there.  I've been there.  I got it together and now I can have the family I want.  It took two years but I did it.  Unfortunately my family doctor is not nearly as supportive as my endo.  My fam. doc. seems to believe that I'm doomed for terrible times in terms of pregnancy - he's a naysayer.  But he's wrong.  My endo says I can do it and so does my husband.  It sounds like you have the same kind of support.  Good luck.  I hope you get your family soon.  I take that back - I KNOW you will have your family soon.

We all go through times like this.  It sucks, and we know it, yet still fall into the pit all too often.

The first step, which you've done, is recognizing that you're in the pit.  The second step, which you've also already done, is climbing up a few steps.  Not much farther to go, and you'll be back out and on top!

Your writing is very therapeutic for you, whether you realize it or not.  The fact that you are willing to share your feelings convinces me that you will succeed.  My 29 year old son never EVER mentions the "D" word, and in my opinion, that is dangerous.  My best wishes for you.
