About Me

Janet Kramschuster, CTRS, Director of Programs for the Diabetic Youth Foundation, operators of Bearskin Meadow Camp and Year-Round Programs, has attended and worked at residential diabetes camps for the past 21 years in Nova Scotia, Massachusetts, and now California. She is a board member and active participant of the Diabetes Education Camping Association, and participates as a camp accreditation visitor and board member with the American Camp Association. Kramschuster is a certified recreation therapist and is pursuing her Master's of Science in Recreation and Leisure Studies at San Francisco State University. In her free time, Janet loves exploring the California mountains with her husband, Luke, and spending time with friends and family.
