Nice post Sysy!  It is an amazing experience to sit back and look where your food choice influence comes from!  My husband and I did a fast a couple of years ago for 8-10 days.  We love to cook together and that was our time to chat and review the day.  So when we were fasting, dinner was like 90 seconds and then we had to find something else to do!

What was amazing to both of us was the number of times we saw food ads, via TV, magazines, radio and all for the most high fat/carb extravaganza you can think of!  We never noticed how much food messaging is going on until we were not eating ourselves.  Have you ever noticed in Calorie King, Arthur Treacher's Seafood Sampler is 3500 kcals!?  How do you possibly make food that caloric? What's worse is that the average person knows so little about what they are eating other than it takes good and they are your influencer?

Lots to be said on the issue of food influencers! Thx for sharing!
