I would just like to say a word of advice for anyone who has this disease, that you should only look at it like a advantage!  If you think about all though we are more prone to getting diseases then anyone else.  WE KNOW!  Knowing what we have to do I think is something that makes us have a plus.  I personally know that it is some what hard to being hanging out with friends and family and have to stop what your doing due to blood test and injections, yet you should be doing it with a smile knowing that you will be able to digest food properly along with lowering your sugar.  A majority of Americans who are young and middle age just don't simply care about how they feel.  A lot of people take their body and how it works for granted.  I come from a strongly polish cultured family who eat big!  I sometimes get jealous with the way they eat wishing to enjoy all the vast amounts of food, yet I know that with the diet, I am actually going to feel more energetic after I eat, more cordinated, and just more generally happy.  For the most part look at the disease as a plus, as hard as it is, life is too short to be in a rut.  Live long, live strong!
