Gretchen, I could not tell how your synopsis of Type 2 diabetes differed greatly from the expert. I think the baffle 'em approach is powerful sometimes. I read your book after I had some labs come back abnormally high post-partum and adhere to some of the dietary restrictions you listed. I have found "The Diabetes Solution" by Richard Bernstein to be the most helpful text for me.

Gretchen,

 

Do you have a book update planned? It feels to me that research has really moved along in the last few years, and there's areas in your book - like the chicken-and-egg question above - where current understanding has overturned things completely.
