I've started reading Gary Taubes's book Good Calories, Bad Calories. It includes a lot of information, and it's 460 pages long. I want to read it slowly and critically, so I won't finish it for some time. But he raises a lot of interesting questions, even when you ha...

This tendency to ignore results which contradict the preconceptions is nothing new.  The other tendency is to ignore the science and publish the conclusions anyway.  We saw this in the Meese commission's conclusions.

    Go to it.
