Hi.  Your article is hilarious.  I think if I sit in my cozy chair, close my eyes and think of your article, my stress will surely disappear.  Thanks for the article.

Rosanne and Karen, I'm glad I was able to reduce your stress for 30 seconds <G>.

Gretchen, you picked all the wrong places! If you'd use the rain forest here in Washington, no black flies, just moss... And the basement has to be in Arizona, where it's all dry... And try using a fake fireplace, with natural gas flames around unmoving logs!

BTW, my favorite place to relax is my deck, in the summer... :)

Love this, Gretchen! I really needed a laugh and this came at the exact perfect time. I needed a stress reliever but visualizing someplace calmer only brought home the point that I was very much NOT there. I think such things can help at times, but they (and we) have our limits.

Thanks for the chuckles!

Your tale reminds me of a line from humorist Fran Lebowitz:  “There is no such thing as inner peace. There is only nervousness or death. Any attempt to prove otherwise constitutes unacceptable behavior.”  I guess between the two I'd have to go with nervousness!
