    Dinner leftovers are my favorite thing for breakfast. Even before I was diagnosed with diabetes I had a hard time eating sweet stuff in the morning, so dinner leftovers are savory, usually protein rich, and best of all: easy when I'm trying to get to work on time. If there's no good leftovers, I'll cook up some eggs, cheese, vegetables, and whatever else is laying around. Or if I'm really in a hurry, two slices of real sourdough bread (way harder to find than most people think, most sourdough bread ins't really) and either peanut butter or vegetable cream cheese.

      Jeff, You sound like me. Actually, for many years I didn't eat any breakfast; just coffee. And I was never hungry for lunch. When I started eating breakfast, I'd get hungry for lunch. I suspect this had to do with abnormal rises and falls in BG, IOW, signs that I'd eventually develop DM, only of course I didn't know that. If I ate only sweets for breakfast,...

      Jeff, You sound like me. Actually, for many years I didn't eat any breakfast; just coffee. And I was never hungry for lunch. When I started eating breakfast, I'd get hungry for lunch. I suspect this had to do with abnormal rises and falls in BG, IOW, signs that I'd eventually develop DM, only of course I didn't know that. If I ate only sweets for breakfast, I'd get the shakes 4 hours later, so I learned not to do that.
