Thanks for the post Gretchen.
I was buying Aut Hattie's Low Carb Bread advertised as 5g net carbs per slice. When I consume - 2 slices, I used to see disproportionate increase in BG. Even after 2 hours - my BG will be hovering around 125 or 130 range. Hence I stopped buying it now.
As always - trust the meter and its values (onc in a while do sanity check on meter also).

Never eat food with small print!
Tonight I shall be mostly eating chicken stir fry with real chicken and real veggies, none of which has writing on at all

I too eat mostly unprocessed food. In the summer I grow my own. But I also occasionally like something sweet. I occasionally eat a half a LC wrap. I think it's unrealistic to expect people to go to real extremes like never eating anything but organic meat and home grown veggies. Trying too hard often leads to failure.
