About Me

Shannon Lewis is a stay-at-home mother whose 7-year-old son, Brendon, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in November 2002. He has been on the Cozmo pump for four years. Shannon started her blog, Mom Wants A Diabetes Cure (momwantsacure.blogspot.com) as a way to reach out to other parents who really understand what it's like to manage their children's diabetes because it can be a misunderstood and lonely occupation.

She lives in New Hampshire with her husband, Jeff, and their three children.
