Hi Gus,

I think you need to share a little more about what is going on so we could maybe help you out. How long have you been diagnosed? How are you trying to control it? Diet and exercise? Drugs? What type of drugs? Are you testing blood sugar levels?

Hi Gus,

You don't give any history for yourself so I may be completely off the mark.  I suspect you're not eating a healthy diet in a consistent manner.  You may also need to exercise and keep tabs on your blood glucose.  Try managing things one day at a time....even one meal at a time.  If you haven't talked with your doctor or diabetes educator, make an appointment to do so immediately.  Get advice on a diet that fits you.  You might also ask your family to help you deal with this.  Even though it's "your" disease it affects everyone as you're finding out.  Your family is the most important thing you have and I know you want to keep them and find a way to manage this diabetes.  Good luck and let us all know how you're doing.

I've just found out that I have diabetes. I kinda thought that i did from some of the begining symptoms. I saw my doctor on thursday and yes I have it. I have noticed that in the past month I tend to argue with my wife about the smallest of things and I'm always yelling at my kids. I'm a 39yr old male that needs help with dealing with my mood swings before I ruin my new marriage and my family. My wife is trying to help me with my eating habits and today I yelled at her even though in my mind I know she was right I wanted my burger I was very hungry. Can someone help me?
