i don't believe in divorce. i never have. i know, i'm old school, but when you marry you marry for life. there are few exceptions where a divorce is possible in my book. no, i'm not catholic, he is. yup, that's what i said, he is. until he decided that he couldn't live with me anymore he was as postive about no divorce as i am.
anyway, this post is suppose to be about living without insurance. having to go two months without insurance i have a better feel about how hard it is for others without it. all i have is about 6 or 7 scripts and needles along with my testing supplies i have to have. i use byetta, that's why the needles. i have gone without on some of my scripts for now but the important ones i have gotten samples from my doctor. so i am luckier then most. i have filed for s.s.d. and have also requested gastric bypass. so if i do get excepted for the bypass i had better have the insurance in in time. what a fiasco that would be.

Is there a way you can get the state to help you with insurance? There has to be right?

steve's insurance finally kicked in, so i have insurance now. as far as state help after the divorce. i will still be bringing in too much for financial help but not enough to pay for what i need. so i will still have to have steve's financial help. he thinks that i can get free or cheap insurance through the state. i checked with the lawyer and he said that it would still come to him paying for the isnurance. the lawyer also said that i'm better off staying married. to be honest i wouldn't be able to live on what i would get with both s.s.d. and from what i would get per month from steve. i guess i would be one of those ones who falls in the cracks. he has taken everything else that is important to me i just can't lose my home too. it's been a rough couple of years but i think i'm starting to get a handle on things. now i just have to figure out what to do about my marriage. what's more important to me, giving him his divorce or staying married and having insurance. i'm just taking my time and thinking everything out real good before i do anything.
