Gluco Tel meter?

I was wondering if any one out there knows if the Gluco Tel meter has been approved by the FDA? This meter works by Blue Tooth and is able to communicate with cell phones and PDA's. Sure would be nice.

Hi there, April! This is Krystle, producer for MyDiabetesCentral.com.

From what I can tell, the meter is still pending FDA approval. According to BodyTel's Web site, "BodyTel has so far applied for 2 different patents that are all currently pending. Furthermore, there are 4 trademarks registered. CE and FDA approval will most likely be granted in Q4 2007."
