My life is very full right now. That's putting a positive spin on the fact that recently I've been struggling to find balance in my life. The basic issue is that I'm in the middle of busy season at work (I'm the administrator for a tax department) and putting in 50-55 hour weeks.

I think the question you ask of where should diabetes management fall in our priorities is a great one. And, like the question, your answers are great too.
For me, what gets me riled up is when my plans and actions don't give me the results I'm expecting. That, and the emotional aspect sometimes drains some of my energy too. That part is hard to quantify.

Hey Kelsey,
Great post! Was wondering what keeps you from turning to a CGM for better convenience? I'm not advocating for one, I don't wear one myself, but have been considering it b/c my life is often so on the go, I may not have the blood checks as often as I would like. And did you wear one during your pregnancy? Just curious what your feelings/comments about that.
