Hi my name is Jared. I am a clinical research coordinator is Salt Lake City, Utah. I have been given the very difficult task of finding interested participants for a clinical trial. Were mesochymal stem cells are being studied to regrow beta cells (pancreas cells that produce insulin).

What makes this difficult is that the individual must be newly diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes (within the last 6 weeks) and be between 18 - 30 years of age.

As most of you already know, the vast majority of type 1 diabetics are diagnosed as children.
