Do you have any suggestions for what to do if the insurer doesn't want to pay for that many strips?

Hi Gretchen- we often have to write letters of medical necessity for our patients so that they can care for their diabetes as necessary. We send copies of evidence-based literature to support our clinical arguments. In nearly all cases - with sufficient prodding- we get enough strips for our pediatric and adolescent patients.
