Brilliant Incentive!

As the mother of a young teen, I can attest to the fact that texting/cell phones are paramount to a teen's survival (social, in any case). Lose the ability to communicate, it could be disasterous from a social standpoint! That they get ... losing the ability to text/talk immediately has the short term effects they can understand.
Not that not testing BG doesn't have long-term disasterous consequences. But let's face it, long-term for a young teen is next week ... not complications that will affect him or her in years to come. My son cannot fathom being as old as I am, so how can he fathom how poor behavior now can impact him negatively when he's my age (however, I will say he is a good tester, and driven somewhat by the fear of DKA).
Please keep us posted (no pun intended) on your experiment's outcomes!
