Going back to college was the best thing I could have ever done. I fell and severely broke my arm in 2003. I did not heal correctly and I have nerve damage and constant pain and numbness in my right hand. I decided it was time for me to pursue my education and do something I have always wanted to do. Being a medical assistant is going to allow me to help other people and educate them about their illnesses. I would love to work with diabetics or in a pain management clinic so I can help them learn how to manage their blood sugar and pain levels as I have had to do.
