About Me
Hello! I am a Type 2 diabetic. I have been a diabetic since July, 2004. I was not shocked nor surprised because everyone on my father's side of the family is diabetic. My brother is not a diabetic so I knew I would probably be.
I have been in college for 2 years majoring in the Medical Assisting program. I am goin on my 160 hour externship on July 16, 2007 working at a Family Practice/Internal Medicine clinic. I will become certified after taking my test in October. I am so excited.
I am taking Byetta twice a day for my diabetes and I love it. I have lost so much weight and my blood sugar is so under control.
I have an 18 yr old daughter who drives me totally crazy...but I guess that is the price you pay when you have kids.
