friendiab

By leeloo Sunday, December 02, 2007
I met diabetes 18 years ago and we became friends. As true friends sometimes we have fights but the most of the time we get along. It was my good partner during my 10 years long karate practicing and didn`t stop me to become master with 1st DAN and win national championships several times. And now I am working as a accountant in publishing company and hopefully will get master degree in economics (home and foreign trade) next year. So, I took my doctor`s advice he gave me when I was 14 and accepted diabetes as a friend. Although it asks for attention all the time I will have to respect it`s wishes because there are years ahead of us and so many things to do.

Hello Leeloo,

What a great attitude to have!! The faster we accept the hand we're dealth, the easier it is to take life by the horns and ride with it!

Congratulations on becoming a Master in Karate and winning your championships! That is indeed a great honor and you worked hard for it!

I hope you will stay in touch and let us know how you are doing.
